Body found in West Brownsville neighborhood

Authorities are working to identify a body found in a West Brownsville neighborhood on Thursday morning.

Brownsville police told Action 4 News that the discovery was made off of Parral Street.

Details were not immediately available but investigators are at the scene.

The neighborhood is flanked by a wooded area, a farm, a power plant and is a short distance from the Rio Grande River.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
