Man wanted for stealing laptops and dog food from Weslaco Wal-Mart

Weslaco police are asking people’s help in identifying a man who stole over $2,700 worth of Wal-Mart merchandise.

The theft occurred on September 17 at the Wal-Mart on 1310 N. Texas Blvd.

Authorities are searching for a bald Hispanic male who was wearing a black shirt.

The suspect first put several bags of dog food in his shopping cart.

He then went over to the electronics department, took three laptops from a display case and placed them in his cart.

The man proceeded to walk out of the store without paying for any of the $2, 756 worth of merchandise.

Anyone with information about who the man may be is encouraged to contact Weslaco Crime Stoppers at 968-8477 (TIPS).

Information leading to an arrest is eligible for a cash reward.
