Authorities have deployed the SWAT team to a home inside the Cimarron Country Club where armed men allegedly returned to the scene of a home invasion.

It all happened at a home off Frio Street in Mission's Cimarron Country Club just after 8 p.m. Thursday.

Armed men stormed the home while seven adults and two babies were inside developing into what police initially described as a "hostage situation."

Several family members managed to escape but two stayed hidden in a closet upstairs.

Mission police said two gunmen surrendered when officers arrived while a third surrendered when SWAT team members entered the home.

A motivie is not clear but investigators said the home had been previously targeted early Thursday morning.

The victims did not appear to have any injuries.

Police said that the suspects are expected to be arraigned over the weekend.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
