An overnight fire left a family of seven homless in La Blanca

Authorities are investigating overnight fire that left a rural Hidalgo County family of seven homeless.

Firefighters responded to a mobile home fire on 5800 block of Benito Ramirez Road in La Blanca at 12:53 a.m. Friday.

A mother and six kids were inside home when fire started, but got out safely.

No injuries were reported but the cause of fire under investigation.
