Authorities are on the lookout for four armed men following a carjacking in a wealthy Edinburg neighborhood.
It all happened on Diplomat Drive in the Los Lagos subdivision early Wednesday afternoon.
Edinburg police reported that the suspects used a gun and a knife to steal a red Jeep Cherokee.
The victims told police that they gave a ride to two men off Iowa Road.
The two men asked for a ride to the home where they allegedly pulled out a gun and a knife.
According to the victims, a white Ford Expedition with Mexican license plates and two other men arrived at the scene.
The four suspects fled in the scene in the white Ford Expedition and the red Jeep Cherokee.
It's not clear why the suspects asked for ride that particular home.
The Los Lagos subdivision includes a golf course and homes ranging in prices from $100,000 to $325,000 dollars.
Edinburg police have alerted other Valley law enforcement agencies and are questioning the victims at this time.
