A motive remains a mystery but authorities said the suspects and victims in a double kidnapping in Alamo all knew each other.
A standoff with the three suspects ended peacefully on Oakwood Drive on Monday morning.
It all ended with 35-year-old Noe Hinojosa, 18-year-old Aaron Gonzalez and a teenager facing a long list of charges.
All three of them are facing aggravated kidnapping, unlawful restraint and engaging in organized criminal activity charges.
Hinojosa is also facing possession of a dangerous drug, evading arrest and failure to identify charges.
Not A Random Act
Alamo Police Chief Arturo Espinoza told Action 4 News that authorities are not releasing the teen's name because he is a juvenile.
A motive is not clear but Alamo Police Sgt. Lupita Valdez said the suspects and victims knew each other.
“There's really no risk for the public,” Sgt. Valdez said. “It's not a random act. So based on that, they do know each other. So it was not a random act. It was not a stranger kidnapping."
The victims only suffered minor injuries while authorities recovered three handguns from the scene.
Hinojosa remains behind bars under $355,000 dollars in bonds while Gonzalez remains in custody under $325,000 dollars in bonds.
The teen suspect is being held in a juvenile justice facility in Hidalgo County.
Sgt. Valdez said Hinojosa and Gonzalez have criminal histories but nothing along the lines of Monday’s kidnapping.
Criminal Past
Federal court records show Hinojosa is wanted for escaping federal custody in Three Rivers while serving time for a meth case back in January 2010.
A probable cause affidavit shows authorities gave Hinojosa a furlough and a plane ticket to fly from a federal prison camp in Oregon to San Antonio.
The records show Hinojosa was supposed to take a bus to Three Rivers but instead, called a friend and asked him to find a woman for him to have sex with.
Hinojosa had been at large and considered a fugitive until his arrest for the kidnapping.
Authorities said Gonzalez is wanted for a drug case in Kleberg County, just one hour north of the Rio Grande Valley.
