Elementary school bus involved in accident in Edinburg

Authorities are investigating an auto accident involving an elementary school bus in Edinburg.

It all happened at the intersection of 10th Street and Sprague Road just after 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Edinburg CISD officials confirmed that a car hit the Bus No. 102 from behind.

School district officials said there were 14 students from Cavazos Elementary School aboard the bus.

No injuries were reported while officials sent a second bus to take the students home.
