A Weslaco teen is headed to three years in a juvenile detention center for stabbing a friend and blaming it on a Ouija board.

The teen appeared before a juvenile justice judge for sentencing on Thursday.

The judge sentenced the 16-year-old to three years at a Texas Juvenile Justice Department facility.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the claimed one of his friends was “the cause of his problems” and that a Ouija board told him to hurt him.
