A San Benito man wanted for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl surrenders to authorities.
According to reports, Lazaro Castro III and the victim lived in the same home when the alleged attacks happened.
Police told Action 4 News on one occassion Castro "penetrated the girl with is fingers".
Investigators said she made an outcry to her father during a custodial visit last month, and he went directly to police.
The nin-year-old girl was taken to Maggie's House where forensic evidence was collected.
Two felony warrants was issued for Castro's arrest two weeks ago.
He did not surrender to San Benito Police until Friday, August 10th.
Castillo is facing aggravated assault of a child and indecency with a child charges.
Police told Action 4 News the victim's parents are separated, and she was living with her mother at the time of the reported incident.
