Another suspect is behind bars for the murder of a Brownsville man who was kidnapped by armed men at a seafood restaurant on the city's westside.
Authorities arrested 30-year-old Oscar Cisneros in Sullivan City late Saturday.
Brownsville police told Action 4 News that Cisneros has been charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old Reyes Bocanegra.
Bocanegra was kidnapped from the Mariscos Playa Azul restaurant off Military Highway on July 18th.
Investigators found his body inside his mother-in-law's SUV in Rancho Viejo a short time later.
An exact motive is not clear but police told Action 4 News in a previous interview that they believe it was a drug-related crime with ties to Matamoros.
Cisneros appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Sunday morning where he was denied bond.
With the assistance of the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force and Ice, Brownsville Police have made another arrest in the murder that occurred on July 18, 2012. Oscar Cisneros was arrested in Sullivan City and has been charged with murder. He was arraigned this morning. No Bond set.
