A two vehicle accident on the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge has left one person dead.
According to Pharr police, the collision happened just before 6 o’clock this evening.
The accident involved an 18-wheeler and a small car.
One of the passengers in the small car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity will not be released until the family is notified.
The border crossing will be closed until the scene is cleared.
No word yet on how long that will be.
