A 43-year-old man was arrested  Wednesday for trying to smuggle cocaine across the border.

Andres Salazar Guadian was trying to come into the United States across the Brownsville's B& M International Bridge.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents sent Guadian’s truck to a secondary inspection during a routine stop at the bridge.

Inside the truck, agents found the alleged cocaine concealed in the dashboard.

The cocaine found weighed a total of 20.2 pounds.

The drugs and car were seized and Guadian was arrested.

He was charged with possession of cocaine and with intent to distribute.

His bond was set at $100,000.
