Authorities report that 11 illegal immigrants have been rescued after being found hidden inside the rear of an 18-wheeler.
It all happened at the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint on Saturday.
U.S. Border Patrol officials told Action 4 News that a northbound 18-wheeler was sent to secondary inspection.
Authorities allegedly found 11 illegal immigrants from Mexico hidden inside a confined area of the tractor trailer.
The immigrants were given food and water but are now being processed for deportation.
Border Patrol officials reported that agents have rescued 240 immigrants in the Rio Grande Valley sector.
The officials reported that they have found the remains of another 80 bodies.
