Four men are facing criminal charges after they allegedly used a set of skeleton keys to open 8-liner machines and steal the cash inside of them.

It all happened at an 8-liner arcade off Coco Road and FM 506 just outside Santa Rosa around 11:35 p.m. Monday.

Cameron County Sheriff's Department deputies arrested a Weslaco man and three men from the Houston area on burglary of a coin-operated machine charges.

The four suspects were identified as:

• Yasin Idris Ansari, 24, Weslaco
• Terry Lynn Clay, 44, Missouri City
• Brian Keith Bobineaux, 31, Houston
• Derrik Jereau Jones, 34, Houston

An employee at the 8-liner arcade told deputies that she saw Clay and Bobineaux use keys to open the machines and take at least $750 dollars from them.

Deputies found all four men inside a rental car off FM 506 and Expressway 83 in La Feria.

The men all had varying amounts of money ranging from $42 to $888 dollars in cash on them.

Court records show that deputies found at least one $5 dollar stamped by the arcade, which are placed in the machines and are never paid out.

All four men appeared before Cameron County Magistrate Court Judge Luis Saenz on Tuesday morning where they each received $5,000 dollar bonds.

It's now clear how the men knew each other or how they got the skeleton keys but court records show that all four of them had criminal histories in the Houston area.

Ansari now lives in Weslaco but served six months probation for marijuana in Austin County just west of Houston.

Clay had five arrests and jail time going back to 1987 for crimes ranging from drugs, aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity in the Houston area.

Bobineaux had numerous arrests in the Houston area  between 2001 and 2007 for auto theft, evading arrest, drugs, assault, theft, unlawful possession of a firearm, failure to ID and aggravated assault.

Jones was sentenced to 15 years in prison for four different aggravated robbery in the Houston area in 1995 and 1996. He had a drug arrest in Houston back in July 2009.
