A bicycle rider is recovering in a local hospital after being hit by a car in Harlingen.
It all happened near the intersection of East Tyler Avenue and 77 Sunshine Strip around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Harlingen police told Action 4 News that the accident involved a car and a man on a bicycle.
A woman driving the car remained at the scene while paramedics rushed the bicycle rider to the hospital.
It was not immediately clear who caused the accident.
No charges have been filed at this time while the accident remains under investigation.
