Cigarettes, other items stolen in McAllen store robbery

Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a convenience store for cigarettes and other items.

McAllen police reported it all happened at a Stripes convenience store off South 10th Street.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the man’s image was caught on store surveillance cameras.

The cameras showed the man leaving the store in a silver GMC Acadia.

Anyone with information about the man or the robbery is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-TIPS.
