Two caught on tape robbing Weslaco convenience store

Authorities are looking for two men who were caught on tape allegedly robbing a convenience store in Weslaco over the weekend.

It all happened at a Stripes convenience store at 725 South Texas Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Weslaco police said the two men walked into the store holding a knife and covering their faces with T-shirts.

The suspects demanded all of the money inside the register.

Police said the employees did as they were told and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.
