Incumbent Joel Quintanilla has been unseated as Hidalgo County Precinct 1 Commissioner.

As of 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Challenger A.C. Cuellar got 10,775 votes or about 57.1 percent of the ballot.

Quintanilla got 8,092 votes or about 42.9 percent of the ballots.
