Police are searching for suspects involved in the destruction of multiple vehicles in Brownsville over the weekend.

The department received many calls about vehicle windows being broken and car tires being slashed.

The incidents were reported throughout the city, but the majority of the calls came from the north side of Brownsville.

Police said that the suspects used some sort of pellet weapon to break the windows of the cars.

They believe the suspects may be in a black Mitsubishi SUV and/or a light colored Ford Sports Trac Explorer.

Anyone with information is asked to call Brownsville Crime Stoppers at (956) 546-TIPS (8477).
