A man is recovering in a McAllen hospital after being pinned under his car for hours Saturday night.

The accident happened on Conway Avenue north of Mile 8 Road in Alton.

Investigators believe that the driver had lost control of the vehicle traveling northbound.

They said he was not wearing his seatbelt and had been thrown from the car.

He was discovered by a morning jogger.

The victim is said to be in stable condition.
