Two men were arrested at the American Legion Hall after Harlingen police found them in a restroom stall with cocaine.
Police went to the bar Friday night because they had received word that there had been some suspicious drug activity going on there.
When officers arrived, they heard “sniffing sounds” coming from a single restroom stall.
Inside the stall they found 47-year-old Cesar Delgado-Garcia and 58-year-old Roberto Olvera with a clear plastic baggy of the drugs.
Delgado-Garcia first lied to officers about his name and date of birth, but Border Patrol assisted in finding his real identity.
Olvera was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and his bond was set at $25,000.
Delgado-Garcia was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Identify.
His bond totaled $27,500.
