A Mission couple remains behind bars under matching $1 million dollar bonds after authorities found more than 4,000 pounds of marijuana in their home.

Mission police arrested Francisco Cazares and Maria Azuara Cazares on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities reported find more than 4,000 pounds of marijuana inside their Farmosa Street home.

Invsestigators told Action 4 News that both of them are illegal immigrants from Mexico.

The couple faced a Mission municipal judge who issued each of them $1 million dollar bonds for felony marijuana charges.
