PHARR, TEXAS (AP) -- Three men are behind bars following and undercover sting where they allegedly answered a 14-year-old girl's Facebook post to have sex for cash.

U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested Teofanes Salas-Campos and Jose Luis Garcia-Saldivar over the weekend.

The two are among three men accused of making arrangements to have sex with the girl at the Sun Deck Motel on South Cage Boulevard in Pharr.

According to federal court records released on Tuesday, the men sent text messages to the girl's phone and made arrangements to pay her for the encounter.

But the records show it was all part of an undercover sting operation.

The girl's mother found out about what her daughter had been doing and turned her phone over to the Pharr Police Department.

Authorities set up a sting operation where they caught Salas-Campos, Garcia-Saldivar and a third man arrested by Pharr police.

Investigators are being tight-lipped about the investigation but said more arrests of the girl's clients could be possible.

Court records show that both Salas-Campos and Garcia-Saldivar are Mexican nationals.

They are both expected to be back in federal court on Thursday morning.
