Harlingen police arrested 59-year-old Herlinda Gillam on a domestic violence charge on Friday morning.

A Harlingen woman is facing criminal charges after attacking her ex son-in-law during an argument.

Harlingen police arrested 59-year-old Herlinda Gillam on a domestic violence charge on Friday morning.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Gillam assaulted her 27-year-old ex son-in-law at his home on South D Street.

Police said Gillam and her daughter allegedly came to his house to clean but got in an argument about his and his ex-wife’s daughters.

Gillam allegedly pushed her ex son-in-law and also grabbed him by his neck.

The 59-year-old woman appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge on Saturday where she was issued a $10,000 dollar bond.
