An armed robbery spree has ended for a San Benito man who police say is linked to at least two crimes in Harlingen.

Harlingen police arrested 21-year-old Ivan Joseph Moreno on two counts of aggravated robbery on Saturday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Moreno is accused of robbing a Starbucks coffee shop off Ed Carey Drive at knifepoint.

Moreno allegedly entered the store with a knife and made off with $110 dollars in cash.

Details were not released but police said an investigation allegedly linked Moreno to the crime.

Police said he’s also the suspect in another knifepoint robbery at the Murphy USA gas station in Harlingen back on March 24th.

Moreno is accused of robbing $390 dollars from a woman pumping gas there.

The San Benito man appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge on Sunday morning where he was issued $950,000 dollars in bonds.
