A murder is under investigation after a body was found on the side of the road in Combes.
Local law enforcement responded to a call about a female's body being found on FM 508 near the frontage road.
Sources told Action for News that the victim is in her early 20's.
It has not yet been confirmed, but sources said she could have suffered from a gun shot wound.
The crime scene attracted onlookers at the nearby Stripes store, some who had driven past the body.
Grocery bags were reported to have been found next to the body.
Investigators at the scene have yet to confirm the information provided.
