Kitchen cops bust the McDonald’s inside the Harlingen Wal-Mart with insect contamination.
Roaches were found in the back of refrigerator units, according to a health report.
A re-inspection showed the violation was later cleared.
In Brownsville, it was a hotel’s kitchen under the microscope.
Inspectors uncovered 23 demerits during a routine visit at the Staybridge Suites on 2900 Pablo Kisel Boulevard.
Off temperature beans, no certified food manager and improperly labeled food like mayo and ranch dressing were ordered destroyed.
Management told the Food Patrol the kitchen won’t score high demerits again and that corrections were quickly made following the city check-up.
