For ten years, Elberto Bravo served as Warden for the East Hidalgo Detention Center in La Villa.

Action 4 News is told that last Tuesday he and other members of the prison staff were brought to the federal building in McAllen for questioning.

Action 4 News contacted Richard Harbinson, executive vice president of the detention center. He told Action 4 News that they are cooperating with the FBI and US Marshals in this investigation.

LCS Correction Services is cooperating fully with the FBI and the U.S. Marshal’s granting them full access” said Harbison.

“We have supplied them with some documents”.  He confirmed that Bravo’s computer was seized.

Angela Dodge with the U.S. Attorney General’s Office in Houston tells Action 4 News there has been no indictment or complaint filed as of yet against Bravo.

As for the FBI---they told Action 4 News they can neither confirm nor deny that there is an investigation.
