A Brownsville woman is behind bars after authorities found more than 57 pounds of marijuana inside her house.
It all happened on the 6900 block of California Road on the city’s eastside on Monday.
Brownsville police told Action 4 News that agents with Special Investigations Unit had a trip drugs were being sold there.
Investigators said 30-year-old Martina Garcia Franco answered the door and let authorities search her home.
Police allegedly found 57.66 pounds of marijuana inside the home.
Franco remains behind bars under a felony possession of marijuana charge.
