Teen caught with nearly 100 pounds of marijuana

Border Patrol agents stopped 17-year-old Cristian Arnoldo Tirado while he was driving a Ford Expedition in Brownsville.

The suspect was detained because agents found 99.7 pounds of marijuana inside his car.

Harlingen Police Department was contacted by Border Patrol about the situation and P.D. took Tirado into custody.

The marijuana was seized by the Harlingen police.

Tirado was charged with possession of marijuana and his bond was set at $50,000.
