Despite the rain and chilly weather, the city of Brownsville plans to continue its Charro Day Festivities.

The parade is expected to go on at noon Saturday afternoon down Elizabeth Street.

Even though a few entries have pulled out of the parade due to the weather, there are still many participants.

Action 4 News’  Marcy Martinez will be the Master of Ceremonies at the city event.

The Sombrero Fest is scheduled to follow.
