Authorities have charged six people for smuggling and harboring 87 illegal immigrants who were found north of Alamo.

U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested the six people as part of a special operation on Monday.

According to court records, agents had a stash house north under surveillance.

Agents arrested five people seen leaving the house driving cars loaded with a total of 13 illegal immigrants.

Authorities searched the home where they arrested another person and found 74 illegal immigrants from Mexico and Central America inside.

Court records show the six suspects were identified as:

• Angel Armando Gonzalez-Davila
• Jesus Torivio Cadena-Bretado
• Jose Manuel Bretado-Capetillo
• Daniel Gonzalez-Suarez
• Julio Cepeda-Borja
• Brenda Nineth Crisostomo-Mendez

Court records show that six illegal immigrants are also being held as witnesses in the case.

All six suspects appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos in McAllen on Tuesday.

Four of the suspects are Mexican nationals while Gonzalez-Davila and Crisostomo-Mendez are Guatemalan nationals.

Judge Ramos denied bond for the suspects until a Thursday hearing.
