Elderly man injured in car accident outside Harlingen home

Paramedics rushed an elderly man rushed to a local hospital following an auto accident outside a home.

It all happened on South Dilworth Road just outside Harlingen city limits shortly after 12 p.m. Monday.

Firefighters told Action 4 News that a woman driving a car hit a retaining wall on the property.

A cause of the accident wasn't clear but investigators said an elderly man inside the car had to be removed rushed to a hospital.

The man’s condition was not immediately available.
