He spent more than two months on the run but now, the second of two suspects in a Harlingen kidnapping is behind bars.

Harlingen City Jail records show that 17-year-old Justin Richard Olivarez is in custody.

Olivarez had been wanted for a November 13th kidnapping at Pendleton Park.

A 24-year-old victim told police that he was hanging out with Olivarez and 17-year-old Carlos Alberto Pineyro, Jr. when they turned on him, assaulted him and forced him to give them his car keys.

According to reports, the two teens forced the man into his car and were driving him to an ATM to withdraw money when the man escaped.

Police arrested Pineyro less than two weeks after the incident but Olivarez had remained at large prompting a January 18th Crime Stoppers alert.

Authorities have not released how Olivarez was taken into custody.

He is expected to be arraigned late Wednesday morning.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
