Lightning came close to striking twice for a car wash in downtown Edinburg.

Edinburg police told Action 4 News that a shooting took place off University Drive around shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said it took place near the Aztek Car Wash.

No injuries were reported but a yellow pickup truck was seen leaving the scene of the crime.

The car wash was the location of a January 12th gang-related shooting where one person only suffered cuts from broken glass.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
