At seven months pregnant, Charityn was looking forward to having her second child.

However, the joy came to a crashing halt Saturday morning, as her unborn daughter's father died in a rollover accident.

Texas Department of Public Safety officials said 19-year-old Dylan Becerra died about 7 a.m.

They said he lost control of his Nissan Maxima, veered off the road, rolled over, and was thrown from the car.

The accident happened on 12 Mile Road just past the 4 Mile mark.

Authorities said Becerra was intoxicated and not wearing a seat belt.

His girlfriend Charityn said he leaves behind a one and a half old son named Andre, and their unborn daughter.

Becerra's mother and his older sister also visited the crash site.

They were too shocked to speak on camera, but said they are in disbelief.

Becerra's sister even took pictures of the site where her brother lost his life.

Becerra's mother wishes her son would've been wearing a seat belt, maybe then she said, he'd still be alive.

Meanwhile, those living at the home where Becerra crashed into the fence, worked on repairing the damage.

Nearby neighbors said this is not the first time a driver plows into a fence.

One neighbor told Action 4 News that about two months ago, a woman veered off the narrow road and took down his fence, which he has yet to repair.

Neighbors also said drivers don’t respect the posted 30 mile-per-hour speed limit, and that the intersection of 12 Mile Road and 4 Mile Road has had its share of accidents.

Becerra was a Weslaco East High School graduate, and the youngest of four siblings.
