Jury continues deliberations for Harlingen karate instructor

A Cameron County jury is contuining deliberations for a Harlingen karate instructor accused of sexually abusing three female students.

The trial for Karate Knights USA owner Carlos Levon Anderson started in the 107th State District Court last week.

Testimony ended with the jury starting deliberations around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The jury is continuing deliberations through Wednesday morning.

According to Harlingen police, Anderson sexually abused three teenage girls.

If convicted, Anderson faces two to twenty years in prison on each count.
