One killed, two injured in wreck west of Lasara

A man is dead and two others are injured following an two-vehicle accident just west of Lasara.

It all happened on Highway 186 near County Road 45 around 1 p.m. Friday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the accident involved a red Nissan Titan and a black Ford F-250.

The Nissan Titan was headed south on County Road 45 while the Ford F-250 was headed west on Highway 186.

Authorities believe that the red Nissan Titan failed to yield the right-of-way to the truck.

One man died while paramedics rushed two others to the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
