Action 4 News has learned that anchors Ryan Wolf and Mary Avila are among the winners of the 2011 Brownsville Herald's Readers Choice Awards.
Ryan won 'Favorite Local TV Personality' while Mary won ' Favorite TV Reporter.'
A full listing of the awards are expected to be published on Friday, January 27th.
Mary anchors Action 4 Sunrise but also makes regular contributions as a reporter.
Ryan's work on the weekly Action 4 News series Food 4 Thought and Streets of Speed put him ahead of the competition.
"I'd like to thank all our voters for watching every week and for voting," Ryan said. "I'm honored by the award."
