Chase prompts 'soft lockdown' at Brownsville school

An elementary school was placed under a 'soft lockdown' following a chase in north Brownsville.

It all happened near Benavides Elementary School off McAllen Road.

Brownsville Independent School District officials confirmed that there was a chase in the area.

School officials put the campus under soft lockdown as a response.
