McAllen police searching for rape suspect

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a rape suspect.

McAllen police said 20-year-old Gerardo Ivan Elizondo is wanted on a sexual assault charge.

A warrant for this arrest was issued late last week but his whereabouts remains unknown.

Elizondo is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Elizondo’s whereabouts is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-8477.
