A McAllen man is dead after he reportedly crashed his car into the sign of a popular restaurant in Pharr.
It all happened outside the El Centro Mall in Pharr shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Pharr police told Action 4 News that the man was exiting the westbound lanes of Expressway 83 when he crashed into a sign for a Luby's restaurant.
The man died due to injuries sustained in the accident.
Authorities are not ready to release the man's name but said he was a McAllen residents in his late 20s.
