Vigil for missing Alton man

Members of the Action 4 News team worked together to bring you this report.

A vigil for a missing Alton man will take place tonight at Mile 5 and Inspiration Road in Mission.

It starts at 6:30 p.m.

Antonio "Tony" Villegas Jr. disappeared August 21st.

Search efforts began in Mission's Butterfly Park.

The Alton man claimed a group of illegal immigrants abducted him in that area, according to more than a dozen 9-1-1 calls he made to police for help.

Anyone with information is asked to call Mission Crime Stoppers at (956) 581-8477.
