A 36-year-old man is dead following a late Monday night wreck in north Harlingen.
It all happened off Loop 499 and Breedlove Street around 11 p.m. Monday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the man made an 'unsafe move' and crashed into a utility pole.
The man's name is not being released at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
Family members identified the victim as 35-year-old Manuel Villarreal.
They told Action 4 News that they're still trying to understand what happened and how he lost control of his car.
Villarreal leaves behind a wife and two children: a 14-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son.
The family told Action 4 News that they need help paying for funeral arrangements.
Villarreal's body is at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
Donations can be made at the funeral home.
