Authorities are investigating an accident where a student was hit by a car outside of PSJA North High School.

It all happened outside the school off Nolana Avenue in Pharr late Thursday afternoon.

PSJA Independent School District officials said a female student was crossing Raiders Drive when she was hit by a car.

Investigators said the girl was at an apartment complex across the street from the school and was returning.

A car making a left hand turn hit the car.

Paramedics rushed the girl to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The driver of the car was not cited.

Action 4 News will post more information as it becomes available.
