Brownsville man arrested for robbing his brother

Brownsville Police arrest a man trying to break into his own brother’s vehicle.

 

According to a police report, the victim caught is brother, 18-year-old Miguel Mendez inside of this vehicle on Corrine Circle trying to steal items from his vehicle.

 

Police told Action 4 News the 18-year-old then hit his brother in the chest and ran.

 

Mendez was later arrested and positively identified.

 

Mendez is now changed with the offense of burglary of vehicle with intent to commit theft.

 

Since Mendez is accused of physically assaulting the victim, charges will be upgraded to robbery.
