A mass door-to-door search is launched in McAllen after a student goes missing.
A representative with the McAllen school district confirms an 11-year-old student went missing around 9 a.m. at Garza Elementary Friday morning.
School district police quickly responded by going door-to-door.
After nearly two hours, the boy was found off campus in a McAllen neighborhood, but school leaders would not say where.
Few details are being released.
The spokesperson told Action 4 News they know why the student left campus, but could not elaborate.
