Woman injured after men shoot at her car in Pharr

Authorities are investigating a car-to-car shooting that left one woman injured in Pharr.

It all happened near the intersection of Emerald and Sugar Roads around 5:33 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators said the woman has headed north on Sugar Road when a white Chrysler 300 started driving alongside her.

A man in the Chrysler pulled out a handgun and opened fire.

The woman was not shot but injured by flying glass.

The suspect fled the scene while a motive in the shooting remains unclear.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Pharr Crime Stoppers at (956) 784-TIPS.
