Man pulled unconscious from Mission canal

A man is clinging to life after being rescued from a canal in Mission.

It happened before 9:00 p.m. near Conway and Trinity.

Firefighters said the man is in his 30s and was pulled from the canal unconscious..

They said he was then rushed to McAllen Medical Center.

Mission Police are now investigating.

No word on how the man ended up in the canal.
