Prostitution sting yields two arrests in downtown Brownsville

A man and a woman are behind bars after being arrested during prostitution sting in downtown Brownsville on Saturday night.

Brownsville police arrested Juan Antonio Garcia and Ana Lilia Ayala on prostitution charges.

Investigators told Action 4 News that both of them offered plain-clothes officers sexual services for cash.

Both of them appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Sunday morning.

The judge issued both of them $1,000 dollar bonds.
